Booting Power

Just so you know.... we're not just a bunch of pretty faces around here, some of us (my husband) are a bit tech savvy.  That's right... we know our computer **it.
I think back to only eight or nine years ago when I was using this sweet little swivel screen iMac, and I STILL miss using it.  Oh, we still have it sitting on a shelf in my husband's home office, but he hasn't been able to figure out if there is a way to get a current Mac OS into it.  Technology changes too quickly sometimes and you have to give up some of the things you love so that you can move forward with faster and more up to date computers that work correctly in today's world and not the world of nine years ago.
(I miss ya cute little fella)
*here he is today*
And here is the bigger, better, faster, more current iMac I use today, although it resides in my home office and not on the kitchen counter.
BUT, saying goodbye to being able to use the little swivel model was like giving a farewell pat on the head to your favorite bobble head on the dashboard of your car.

Speaking of technology, you may want to check out this video of how solar power is changing.
Perhaps one day all buildings will be outfitted in this manner
and we can all give the power companies a boot in the butt and bid them farewell for good.
Wouldn't that just be ducky!

Gotta love technology folks.

  1. Third try for leaving a comment . . .
I wish I was more tech savvy . . ,I try to keep up with all the changes, take classes, etc.,
but more times than not I have a grrrrr growl on my face over it all.
Rowdy and I could be twins!
