The Shopping That Never Happened

It's been cold and rainy.
The kind of weather that makes bones ache,
and all it's good for is staying indoors tucked beneath a blanket and watching all the bad movies your husband selects on Netflix.... because he has no taste whatsoever in selecting movies, although he may just argue debate discuss that point with you......
*taken from hill on way home from mall*
*taken from hill where Wal-Mart sits looking across to the Blue Ridge Mountains*
*taken while stomping around in swampy, rain filled, pond-like front yard*

so you choose to go to town for dog food, gas in SUV, compost bags and some selfish shopping,
but then you open wallet and all bank and credit cards are missing and you realize you left them on your desk next to your computer keyboard when you did you Cyber Monday shopping
so you turn around and go home
and watch another crummy movie selected by your husband while you were in town
doing your 'shopping that never happened'.

  4. I had to chuckle when reading where you left your credit cards. I have done the same thing on more than one occasion :( Luckily I live in a small town and the store owners will let you leave with the product, they stick a note under the cash register and it can be paid the next time I go to town.

And a chance for MORE not fun movies!
