Autumn light on the last of the leaves as it shines into the cedar grove.
The wee bit gentler slope to the backyard after TONS and TONS of dirt fill were done, and it will never be flat because we do live on the side of a small mountain.
It is what it is, and we simply let the beauty of it shine through rather than to try to make it something that it is not, nor will it ever be.
The area of the yard I am standing in to take these next photos was not here prior to the dirt fill, but instead was just a mess with brush, part of the drainage gully, and wild berry bushes.... I'll miss the berries they provided, but not to worry.... our property has more of those.
I cannot believe how green that grass is - it doesn't even look real!!! Your pups are so lucky to have such a lovely yard to play in!!
