Foxy Snood

Rainy, damp, making-my-bones-ache kind of weather today, so I am choosing to show you a purchase I made to help me stay warm.  I seem to have always had a problem keeping my body temperature at a comfortable level on days such as this, and with menopause still hanging around, I get hot and then cold. so layering of clothing is a must for me.
I had gone shopping for a blanket scarf and I did find one, but this little foxy snood also caught my eye and came home with me.  I just couldn't help myself.  I've looked at sweaters galore with the sweet fox on them, but not one spoke to me with having quality in it's stitching, but the snood did!
It's absolutely the cutest, coming in two color..... this gray, or there was a choice of brown with an orange fox.  The gray had cooler tones and I tend to wear cool better than the warm autumn colors that so many of your prefer.

*Mac matte lipstick in All Fired Up*
Kisses to you my darling little fox.
Now. snood styled scarves are not for everyone because they do fit close around the neck, unlike a scarf in the blanket or the infinity styles.
Snoods are meant for a whole lot of warmth so if you tend to get overly warm quickly.... stay away from the snood styles.
This one is also lined with fleece for added warmth when out on a cold winter day.
I literally shake uncontrollably when my neck, and chest area get cold when outdoor temperatures drop come December through March.
Last winter my husband was away during our coldest and snowiest weeks so I found myself outside shoveling the sidewalk....
dressing warm was key.
Here's a close up of the cute fox pattern knitted into this snood
and I purchased it at Belks Department store at 30% off.
I couldn't find it on their website, so if you are interested you will need to pay them a visit at your local mall.

  1. That's really cute and looks very warm. If I lived someplace really cold, that would be on my list.

  5. That would just be the ticket for keeping warm on a morning walk or wrangling the snowblower. We have no Belk's around here but I will check Amazon.
