Vintage Metal Trucks

 Most of us are waaaay past needing items for our Christmas decor around the house, and my red truck buying is done.... hopefully, since I now have three great looking ones.

 But I did want to let those of you who have not yet found one and are still pining for one that there are some still available, and I don't mean those with jacked up sky high prices that people are now selling on Ebay.

 Just out of curiosity I went to Etsy today to snoop around, and I searched for 'vintage metal truck' and it gave me a back a yellow one, a red one, and a green one.  Each was VERY cute too and not over priced.

 So.... even though you probably won't get one in time for Christmas this year,

you can buy one for your next year Christmas decor.

 If you pass up the opportunity then I don't want to hear you whining next year, okay?

 You've probably already over extended your Christmas budget so what's one more thing.... right!  LOL

People Say Ugh

When anyone starts pushing Christmas items on their blog this early in the season (not even officially autumn yet) their readers say UGH... NOT YET!

But, here's the deal.... if you enjoy decorating your home in a theme look, or simply missed out on a particular item last Christmas, then now is the time to shop for it, unless of course you want it to be sold out and miss it again.

I fell in love with little red farm pickup trucks last year, so thought I would do some searching early this year, and this is what I found and am sharing with you today... trust me.... get it now or cry later.  boo hoo.

No Hobby Lobby in my area, but there red truck looks awesome.

Not in love with Kirkland's, but it would do in a pinch, and it's BIG!

Little Christmas Trucks

 Christmas is nearly here.

You can tell around our house, since my husband is now adding a bit of color (m&m's) to his homemade cookies.  He doesn't do that any other time of the year. 

 And I am obsessed with little red Christmas trucks around the house.  The first one was a $3 one that I came across at Target.  It was the last one they had at our local Target store so I snatched it from the shelf and ran like crazy.

 Then last week I stopped at a local nursery that sells Christmas trees and Christmas decor, garden flags, fresh veggies..... and they had one floor mat left with a red Christmas truck.  HAD to have it!!  It is actually an insert for a welcome mat for a front porch, but I don't have the kind of door mat that requires an insert, so this

 little lovely is on the floor in front of my kitchen sink and I LOVE IT!

 THEN, last week as I was reading a few blogs, I noticed this one on a link they had supplied.  It too is from Target.  So fun with the red Target circle on the tires,

 Lights strung from the side,

 A wreath on the front,

 and a tree in the back!
COULD NOT RESIST!
I could add another tree or some presents in the back of the truck, use it on a dining room table display, or fill it full of Christmas cards.  Such a cute truck with great decorating options.
Target also had a camper trailer to display with the truck, but both are most likely sold out by now.
Wish I had purchased the camper before it sold out.

I swear if I find another red truck it will most likely end up in my house too.
I am love struck by their cuteness quality.
