Cloud Nine

Do you look at yourself as being a negative person?

Or are you simply UP all the time, pretending to be forever on Cloud 9?

I don't care who you are, life is NOT always unicorns and rainbows.

Sometimes it can deal you a load if you know what I mean,

and it's nice to have at least one friend who will listen.

One who will not tell you to stop being negative

and then walk away from you while you are speaking to them.

There are times that we all NEED that friend.

We need them very much, only to listen.

IF you are someone who only wants to hear the positives and not really know what is going on in a person's life and only wants the unicorns and rainbows then

you my dear friend are not a friend at all.

I'm pretty positive, but I do not live on a cloud, and I'll get off yours in a heartbeat if you

can't listen when things go wrong in my world.

Life is a delicate balance sometimes and we all need that friendship shoulder now and then,

and it's when times get tough that we truly find out who are friends are.

Sometimes it's easier just to say' fuck you' and walk away when you need a warm shoulder but are instead cold shouldered.

People purport to be all sorts of things.

Loving
Supportive
Caring
Giving
Neighborly
Warm Hearted
and the list goes on.....

I guess you could say we all, each and every one of us, has our own Cloud 9, and sometimes clouds bump together,
sometimes they roll into one, melding and becoming part of another cloud,
but I am finding that my cloud floats in that big sky alone.
