Today I found myself wandering from the house to the front porch and back again as the foggy weather continued to blanket us for the 4th day. More rain and fog on the way... this is the grayest December I can recall. David busied himself in the kitchen making homemade pie crust and a HUGE deep dish fresh cherry and raspberry pie for us to eat over the holiday. I'm sure it will be tasty since any baking or cooking he puts his hands to is usually gold. The house is as Christmasy as it's going to get this year. Wishing you all pies and cakes, candy and cheese trays filled with all that appeals to your sweet teeth. Merry Christmas to our friends and family as they too celebrate the Season. We love you all.
May your Holiday Season be warm and may you be surrounded by people who love you.

Just as I wrote that . . . the sunshine burst through the windows . . .
That pie looks delicious! I think I've already gained a couple of pounds, but I would have to have a giant piece of that pie, warm from the oven, topped with vanilla ice cream. May you and David have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYum..Good job David!! Merry Christmas to you both..
