Real vs Faux

Not long ago I ran across a post about potting faux succulents, and it's something I wanted to try myself, but I am lazy that way, about doing crafting items, so instead I went to Michaels Arts and Crafts Store and purchased a couple of fake ones and planted them in a pot/container for my office.
Can you tell which is real and which is faux?

She who guesses correctly wins a million dollars!!!
P.S.
Michael's has only a few left in the store here in our area, and they are clearanced pretty cheap.
I guess they think no one likes succulents except in the summer months... I happen to love them year round.

  1. I think the first one is real. Succulents keep a reserve of water in their "leaves." And typically look kind of like a slightly blown up balloon.

  2. Nope I can't tell! If you have to look that hard then I'd say you've achieved what you were after.

I don't have a lot of faux flowers or plants but the ones that I have are stars in the decor!! You found one too. :)
