Chanel On The Farm

I was once told that I am very 'girly', and it was said in a negative way.
Well... OF COURSE I AM GIRLY!
I am after all a girl.

I love wearing boots and hats and jeans and flannel shirts, but I see nothing wrong with adding a splash of super femininity to what is an otherwise, somewhat historically speaking, a manly outfit.

'Chanel-esque' is how the sales girl at The Loft store described the look of this bracelet and I totally agreed with her choice of word, should 'Chanel-esque' ever be deemed a real word by old Mr. Webster's dictionary.

I have worn this every day since purchasing it a week or two ago,

and love stacking it right next to an over-sized gold watch.
It's completely girly looking,
but if she wants to wear jeans and shirts and boots without the touch of femininity I would never label her as more manly looking than I.  It's simply her choice to keep it all very simple looking while she's out slopping the hogs I suppose.

 What about you?
Do you girlify things or do you prefer the hog slopping style?
I mean, who am I to judge what anyone wears while doing farm chores?
I don't own a hog, so the pearls and bobbles suit me perfectly!
I truly believe though that had Coco Chanel lived on a farm during her designer years that she totally would have gone all out with her fashion while gathering eggs, milking cows, currying horses, or whatever farm chores she was doing.

Gotta love a Chanel girl.
