A Win-Win

Last year was our first autumn in this home,

but I don't remember the forsythia along the driveway being this colorful last year.

Our previous home had one forsythia and it was the scrubbiest, saddest little thing you ever saw.

This one, actually it's two bushes, is much more hardy and I would love to have more of them lining the driveway since they blossom in bright yellow earlier in the year and then turn these lustrous colors in the fall.

It's a win-win when it brings you joy with it's colors twice a year and they also provide a natural privacy fence.

Time to plant more of these!

  1. Forsythia is really easy to propagate by rooted cuttings! Since you like these particular ones so much, make more of them yourself. It's practically free!
