Why The Name

So, back in the saddle again? or so it was put to me today as regarding blogging.

Blogging for me has been a process of the past six years, and although I have generally maintained the same blog for all of those years, it did go through some name changes along the way.  This blog, however, is a new start from scritch scratch so a new name was needed once again, and I hemmed and hawed over it for a few weeks, using one, then deleting, choosing another name and another name and finally, one evening as we sat having dinner I glanced at the salt and pepper and spices on the tray in the center of the table and noticed the McCormick Pepper Medley grinder.

That works, since pepper can be hot and spicy like my words, and the Medley part... well... my blogs are always a medley of words and photos, thoughts and ideas, and a never ending number of subjects.

So medley worked as well.
