These are the final series of shots I took on my way home yesterday.
This drive leads up to a number of homes that are large and beautiful, but this area has an HOA so we simply did not look for a home or a lot to build on here.
HOA's.. well, we have been down that path before and prefer not to be told what to do with our home and land's appearance. But the view from the homes on this hill are to die for!
It was nearing late afternoon as I drove down our road and the trees were all casting long shadows across the road in some spots.
Have I told you that autumn is my favorite time of the year?
GAH! The beauty of it inspires me to get outdoors for a bit of sunshine and just BE.
Sit quietly and BE.
We pass by the golf course each time we leave home to go anywhere, and there are usually geese on this pond, but I didn't see them yesterday.
They fly their famous vee-shape over our home, honking loudly at least twice a day.
Now where did they go to?
A cart path.
I don't play golf, but would love to take a cart up this path, along with my camera and catch some new views.
Almost home, and how I love THIS view any time of the year.
The Alleghenies are dressed in fall splendor right now.
These trees were simply on fire.
Living without the mountain views would be like taking my MTV or Kodachrome away.
Don't do it.
And our crape myrtle is on fire..... time to plant more of them next year I think.
It welcomed me home.
Thanks for coming along on this autumn jaunt with me!
