When it comes to being sick or having any kind of ailment, I am not one to jump to the worst case scenario thinkin
OMG CANCER!
JEEZ, I NEED MY DOCTOR!
THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY BRAIN!!!!
I WONDER WHAT MEDICINE WILL HELP ME?
MY husband is a wee bit more of an alarmist, and will look up things on the internet and send me links to read.
Now.... about that vertigo of mine, or just flat out dizziness and spinning of the room:
The first action I took was to stop and think "what am I doing differently" and "what change has happened in my life" or "what have I been eating that I didn't eat prior to this condition"?
That's exactly what I did after five days of that shitty vertigo that had me nearly falling flat on my face just by getting out of bed in the morning. Horrible stuff that Vertigo fellow.
The only thing that had changed in my life was that I was now using a cell phone... an iPhone... but probably any phone with scrolling capabilities would do the same to me. Yes, I do believe it was caused by excessive scrolling and viewing on my iPhone, so I have backed off of using it, except as a phone most of the time. Other computer social needs can be taken care of on my iPad, which has a larger screen, or as I am doing right now, sitting at my desktop computer.
I read THIS ARTICLE today about vertigo/dizziness/nausea and cell phones, and I went in and changed the settings on my phone as they showed how to do. It is now nearly noon and I have had no vertigo today, so I am going to see how the next few days go and if these symptoms do return, then I'll be making a doctor's appointment, but for now...
I am blaming it on the phone.
Hope it works!!

Wow, who would have thought? I have a good friend who gets extreme vertigo from Meniere's Disease. She's very careful with the amount of salt she consumers and it seems to help her. I hope you get an answer.
