There was a bit of frost on the pumpkin so to speak, not too long ago
but since then it is back to normal around here when it comes to the look out the window.
Just brown leaves on the ground and sort of a mushy green yard.
We have a mole in the front yard making short works of our flat lawn.
He digs it up.
I stomp it down.
The pups cock their heads sideways when outside, hearing and smelling the critter just below the surface of the lawn.
If you happen to drive by and see a crazy lady in the front yard jabbing holes with a pitch fork trying in earnest to stab the buh-jeesuz out of an underground mole by aiming at his trailhead...
just ignore her.
It's probably just the neighborhood whacko.
Those moles and voles can make us Crrraaazzzyyyy . . .
