The snow has melted away
and we can only hope that that is the last of it for this round of winter
here in the mountains of southwestern Virginia.
My bones have not ached in two days so it's a good sign that perhaps spring is here,
which makes me start looking to pull spring decor items from my closets and also search the internet and stores for bunnies and yellow flowers.
Yes. To me spring is yellow flowers, lemons and bunny rabbits.
I am a Pier One gal and came across this Jardin with a hare, butterflies, carrots, peas and cabbage printed on it and simply decided it was a MUST HAVE for my kitchen dinette area, but it was sold out on their website.
I felt a bit of disappointment that I could not order it right away, but since we have a Pier One in Roanoke I decided to pay them a visit on the off chance that they may have one...
AND THEY DID!
I purchased the last one in our local store and went skippity hopping home with a huge smile.
For now it is sitting on my blue kitchen cabinet/sideboard, but at some point I want to hang it centered over the cabinet.
Don't you just love it when things turn out just the way you pictured them?
Welcome home Jardin de Legumes!
Your bunny art is so cute! Yes, I love it when things work out the way I want them to. :)
ReplyDeleteI went to Pier 1 the other day and just roamed and roamed. I bought one of the bunny plates that they have by the front door. I'm assuming your store is similar to ours.
Be sure to link up with Thoughts of Home on Thursday on 3/10. This would be perfect. :)
Love your Spring vignette! Everything looks perfect (that was your plan, right?). The sign is a good find...Pier 1 has something interesting things. We are hoping winter has departed. Hubs has been working on his garden planning. He already has some cabbage seeds planted in the greenhouse.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to find your blog this morning while having coffee.
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad you joined Thoughts of Home on Thursday. And now I need to go to Pier I!
Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty Spring Vignette!
Just like you I am a fan of Pier One and I found some wonderful Mercury Easter Eggs there earlier in the month.
So happy to have you join us At Thoughts Of Home Thursday!

ReplyDeleteOMG! I have been looking for that Jardin Hare piece forever now! I'm guessing by your posted date that I have no luck in finding it now, lol. SOOOO adorable though! Love your blog. I would have run hippity-skipping home, as well! <3 Have a great day!
